Privacy Policy

Bill Villains ("the app") is made by James Foy ("we", "us").
What we collect
Nothing you enter. The subscriptions, bills, prices, dates, paydays and name you add are stored only on your device. The app has no accounts, never connects to your bank, and doesn't send your information to us.
Purchases
If you buy Premium, payment is handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your Premium is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history, not your payment details or anything you entered in the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Bank statements
If you paste transactions or choose a bank file to import, it is read on your device to find subscriptions and paydays. Only the items you choose to save are kept. The statement itself is not stored or sent anywhere.
Backups
If you choose "Save backup", the app creates a file with your data and hands it to the iPhone share sheet. Where it goes (iCloud Drive, Files, email, AirDrop) is up to you. We never receive it.
Face ID
If you turn on the lock, Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is checked by iOS. The app only learns whether it succeeded. It never sees your face data or passcode.
Notifications and widgets
Bill warnings are scheduled on your device, not sent from a server. Widgets read a summary that the app saves on your device.
Sharing
Roast cards and other share images are made on your device and only go where you send them.
Links
Cancel guides open the service's own website in your browser. What happens there is covered by that website's privacy policy.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can turn off villain warnings in the app's Settings, delete all your data with "Delete all my data" in Settings (or by deleting the app), and cancel Premium in your App Store account settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
